Woman in her 70s hospitalized after pickup truck collision in Newalla

NEWALLA, OK – A woman in her mid-70s was sent to a local hospital following a pickup truck collision that happened on Harrah Road in Newalla on Friday.
The collision occurred around 12:15 p.m. near Southeast 89th Street, according to KOCO. It appears the woman lost control of her truck and crashed into a tree. The truck was significantly damaged.
As of this writing, the woman’s physical condition has not been confirmed, and officials have not specified what caused her to crash into a tree.
Oklahoma City police and fire crews blocked a portion of the road to accommodate the scene clearance process.
No other vehicles seemed to have been involved.
