Man loses life to pedestrian crash outside Pryor bar

PRYOR, OK – A man died as a result of a pedestrian crash that happened outside Hooker’s Bar and Grill on Sunday, according to KTUL.
The events unfolded after 8 p.m., when the man had just left the bar. He was crossing northbound Highway 69 from W 530 and was struck by a vehicle.
Employees of the bar and passerby saw what unfolded and rushed to the man’s aid, and gave him CPR until ambulance crews arrived.
The man was left in critical condition and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Pryor Creek police are investigating the details behind the crash.
