OKC police arrest suspect after hit-and-run collision that damaged home fence

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City police arrested and put a person into custody in connection with a hit-and-run collision that damaged a home’s backyard fence on Friday.
The collision occurred around 6 p.m. on East Memorial Road, along Oklahoma Christian University and near Northwood Boulevard, according to News9. A photo posted on OKCFox’s website reveals that the suspect was driving what appeared to be a dark-colored car with a license plate reading BLT-622.
A neighbor and eyewitness told police that the driver fled the scene on foot and went to a nearby apartment. Police apprehended the suspect there.
Police confirmed the home occupants were not inside the home when the collision occurred. No injuries were reported.
