Man, 29, killed in motorcycle collision in Mead

MEAD, OK – A 29-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle collision that took place off the intersection of Max and Manchette Roads on Saturday.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol told KTEN that the motorcyclist was going east on Max Road when he lost control of his bike and crashed into a railroad track.
Troopers said the man was ejected from his bike and died from his injuries. Early investigation details reveal he was traveling at a high rate of speed. Troopers have since identified the man as Jaren Phelps, a Calera resident.
