Glenpool PD arrests Texas man following hit-and-run crash

GLENPOOL, OK – Glenpool Police arrested a 23-year-old man from Texas following a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday, KTUL reports.

Police said the incident unfolded when the 23-year-old man collided with another vehicle around 9:30 p.m. in the area of 151st Street and U.S. Highway 175 and then fled the scene in his vehicle.

Glenpool police located the 23-year-old man at a nearby business and explained that he was planning to exchange information with the other driver, a juvenile, at a different location.

Police said that exchanging information at a different location did not meet legal requirements, and they arrested the driver.

The 23-year-old man is set to face charges of leaving the scene of a crash and driving without a license.

The other juvenile was injured and treated at the scene.
