Pedestrian fatally struck by car near OKC’s Will Rogers Int. Airport

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian lost their life after getting hit by a car east of Will Rogers International Airport on Tuesday, News9 reports.

The auto-pedestrian crash occurred off the intersection of I-240 and May Avenue. Preliminary details reveal the pedestrian was working to clear debris from the road when he was struck by the car.

The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

Officials shut down the area for the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.
