Impairment suspected in wrong-way crash that injured 2 drivers in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Police are suspecting that impairment was to blame for a wrong-way crash that sent two drivers to a hospital on Thursday.
The incident unfolded at 11:45 p.m. when a driver was traveling south on northbound I-35 and crashed head-on into another car, KOCO said.
Oklahoma City Police said the wrong-way driver showed signs of impairment and also reported that he allegedly assaulted Oklahoma Highway Patrol state troopers.
The wrong-way motorist was arrested and, along with another driver, is being treated for serious injuries.
Officials shut down the majority of the highway and have since reopened it.
