Stop sign runner, passenger hurt in two-vehicle collision in Spencer

SPENCER, OK – A stop sign runner was responsible for causing a two-vehicle collision that injured themself and their passenger on Wednesday, News9 said.
Preliminary details show that one driver ignored a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Northeast 36th Street and North Douglas Boulevard, outside Rogers Middle School.
The stop sign runner was ejected from their vehicle, which overturned.
EMS crews transported the stop sign runner and their passenger to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released the occupants’ names or reported any citations.
