Man, 51, dies after motorcycle-vehicle crash near Antlers

ANTLERS, OK – A 51-year-old man died as a result of a motorcycle-vehicle collision that occurred near Antlers on Monday, KXII said.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol determined that a vehicle driver overcorrected while traveling on eastbound State Highway 3 and left the road before crashing into a motorcycle.
The vehicle driver told OHP he tried to maneuver his vehicle to avoid the crash, but was unable to do so.
The 51-year-old male motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries a short time later. He has since been identified as Stephen Barnes, a Pushmataha County resident.
