UPDATE: OKC PD arrests suspect in connection with Southern Oaks fatal hit-and-run

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Police arrested one suspect in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in the Southern Oaks community last Wednesday, March 25, OKCFOX said.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Southwest 59th Street and South Francis Street. There, a female pedestrian was struck by a light-colored, compact crossover SUV and then a black Dodge Charger.
The woman, later identified as Zulma Lorena Briones Herrera, died from her injuries.
Police arrested one of the suspects, identified as Jesus Campos Najera.
It’s unclear what vehicle Campos Najera was driving and police did not specify what vehicle he was driving.
