Dirt bike rider hospitalized following T-bone crash in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A dirt bike rider was hospitalized following a T-bone crash in Oklahoma City on Monday, News9 reports.
Police said the incident unfolded when a northbound SUV, turning left from South Pennsylvania Avenue onto Southwest 76th Street, crashed into the dirt bike rider.
The SUV driver reportedly did not stop and continued driving. Police did not specify whether the motorist was fleeing the scene or heading to a nearby home.
Police were also told by eyewitnesses that the dirt bike rider was reportedly drifting in and out of traffic prior to the crash.
Police believe the dirt bike rider sustained serious injuries, but have not been able to confirm their current physical condition.
The Emergency Medical Services Authority hurried the biker to a hospital, where they are continuing to recover.
Police are actively working to determine more about the contributing factors behind the collision and have not announced any charges against the SUV driver at this time.
