2 women killed in fiery rear-end crash near Guymon

NEAR GUYMON, OK – A 52-year-old woman and a 78-year-old woman lost their lives in a fiery rear-end crash that occurred two miles south of Guymon on Saturday.
The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Highway 136. There, a 19-year-old female driver crashed into the back of a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old woman.
The 52-year-old woman’s vehicle caught on fire.
The impact of the collision led to the death of the 52-year-old woman, identified as Maria Fernandez, and her passenger, the 78-year-old woman, identified as Maria Villanueva De Fernandez, both Borger residents.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the 19-year-old woman as Israel Morales and said she was uninjured.
