Sulphur man’s life claimed in hit-and-run crash in Purcell

PURCELL, OK – A 56-year-old man from Sulphur was killed in a hit-and-run crash that took place on Interstate 35 North on Friday, Koco5 reports.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the Sulphur man was driving when an unspecified vehicle crashed into his. The driver of that unknown vehicle immediately fled the scene.
Subsequently, the Sulphur man, David Blasingame, died from his injuries, while his passenger survived. OHP did not say whether his passenger was injured.
Authorities have not released a description of the hit-and-run suspect or their vehicle make and model.
