At least 1 injured in crash with extrication in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person sustained minor injuries in a crash that required extrication in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Koco5 reports.

The crash happened on Interstate 40 West near South Portland Avenue. Video footage showed an overturned sedan on the interstate. Fire crews extricated the person trapped inside, although it’s not immediately clear whether they were taken to the hospital.

Traffic delays were seen in the west and eastbound lanes as officials worked to restore safe road conditions.
