Motorcyclist hospitalized after Independence Day hit-and-run in Midwest City

MIDWEST CITY, OK – A motorcyclist had to go to the hospital following a hit-and-run crash that happened on Independence Day on Saturday, the Fourth of July.
The incident occurred in the area of South Midwest Boulevard and East Towry Drive. Local police told Koco5News they believe the driver of a black sedan struck a motorcyclist and then fled the scene.
The suspect was last seen traveling on southbound Midwest Boulevard.
EMS crews arrived to find the motorcyclist with a head injury and immediately rushed them to a hospital.
Police shut down the area for the scene clearance process.
