At least 1 injured in vehicle accident in central OKC

CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured in a vehicle accident in Central Oklahoma City, east of McKinley Park on Wednesday.

The collision happened at the intersection of Northwest 13th Street and Classen Boulevard and appeared to involve a red sedan and a white SUV, according to Koco5 video footage. Fire crews appeared to be in the process of extricating one person.

An ambulance was summoned to the scene, although it is not immediately clear whether the extricated person or others involved were taken to a hospital or the extent of injuries sustained.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
