87-year-old man’s life claimed in crash with ambulance in Calera

CALERA, OK – An 87-year-old man was killed and three others were injured in a crash involving an ambulance on the outskirts of Calera on Tuesday.
The incident unfolded when the 87-year-old male driver was turning onto Chickasaw Road from southbound U.S. 69 and collided with a northbound Atoka County ambulance, according to OKCFOX.
The ambulance crashed into the side of the 87-year-old man’s vehicle. The elderly man, later identified as Wesley Weber, succumbed to his injuries, while three paramedics were left with unspecified injuries.
