OKC PD arrests person after crash that damages building

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City police arrested one person in connection with a crash that damaged a building on Tuesday.
Police told Koco5 that around 10:30 p.m., the arrestee crashed their vehicle into a building located off Southwest 22nd Street and South Kentucky Avenue.
The impact of the collision entrapped one person inside the vehicle, warranting a response from fire crews who extricated that person. It’s still not immediately clear whether the extricated individual was the arrestee or another person.
The arrestee remains in jail, and their identity has not been released.
Police are actively working to determine the events that led to the crash.
