OSU student injured in crash involving bus in Stillwater

STILLWATER, OK – An Oklahoma State University student was injured in a crash involving a bus in Stillwater on Tuesday, News 9 said.

The incident happened around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Street and University Avenue. There, an OSU transit bus turning left from University Avenue onto Washington Street crashed into a student crossing the street, according to video footage from an anonymous YikYak user.

The video footage showed the student crossing the intersection in a marked crosswalk.

The student sustained minor injuries and was transported to Stillwater Medical Center for treatment.

Police confirmed the driver has not been cited, and they are actively working to determine the factors behind the collision.
