Adult, 31, killed in pedestrian-vehicle crash in SE OKC

SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A 31-year-old adult was killed in a pedestrian-vehicle crash in Southeast Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol told News9 that the incident unfolded before 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 35 North near Southeast 44th Street.
OHP said the driver who struck the pedestrian, later identified as Mikecala Goosby, saw Goosby running across the highway and tried to avoid hitting them, but was unable to avoid a crash.
Subsequently, Goosby died from their injuries. OHP did not specify their gender.
The driver and their passenger were uninjured.
