Alleged DUI crash near E Sheridan Ave and N Lincoln Blvd kills 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A male passenger died Saturday morning in an alleged DUI crash just southeast of downtown Oklahoma City, reports KFOR News 4. 

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of East Sheridan Avenue and North Lincoln Boulevard, which is east of Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Police say that a vehicle rolled on its side after hitting railroad tracks on the other side of a dead end. The unrestrained passenger, identified as Joshua Neal, died at the scene of the accident.

The driver, identified as Lashay Rhodes, faces multiple criminal charges, including first degree manslaughter, speeding, DUI, and driving on the wrong side of the road.

A full investigation is underway.
