Ambulance called to solo rollover on I-35 NB near I-40

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Motorists faced delays Friday morning in central Oklahoma City following a single-vehicle rollover along the interstate, reports News 9.

The accident happened sometime before 5:15 a.m. along the exit from northbound I-35 to Oklahoma City Boulevard. This is just southeast of the downtown area.

Police say that a car left the roadway and overturned into a ditch after hitting a sand barrel. Video footage taken at the scene indicates that a white or silver sedan may have been involved.

It’s not yet known if anyone in the vehicle sustained injuries in the wreck, but an ambulance did report to the scene.

Authorities haven’t disclosed what might have caused the driver to lose control of their vehicle.
