Ambulance struck in hit-and-run while responding to emergency call

SEMINOLE, OK. – A Seminole fire truck was involved in a hit-and-run accident when responding to an emergency on Sunday. The crash happened shortly after 1:00 a.m., according to the Seminole Fire Department. The driver of an as-yet-unidentified black vehicle reportedly ran a stop sign at West Strother Ave. and University St., struck the front of the ambulance, and fled the scene. No injuries were reported in the crash, and the fire truck sustained minor damage.
