OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Injuries were reported Tuesday morning after a multi-vehicle wreck near Taft Middle School in northwest Oklahoma City, reports News9.
The accident happened at the intersection of Northwest 23rd Street and North May Avenue.
Few details have been disclosed, but authorities said a nearby water line break had caused water to spill onto the roadway. The water then froze, creating icy road conditions in the area that led to the wreck.
The event was listed as an injury crash, but the exact number of those hurt and the extent of their injuries have not been released.
A section of Northwest 23rd Street was shut down in both directions as crews worked the scene, but have since been reopened.
