At least one person injured in late-night I-40 collision

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash on Interstate 40 late Saturday night caused the injury of at least one person and for traffic to be blocked for about an hour and a half, according to tweets by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of I-40 near Meridian Avenue at 11:24 p.m.
While the exact circumstances of the collision are not known, OHP reported at least one injury in the accident.
The victim was not identified.
The crash was cleared at 1:13 a.m. Sunday, after multiple lanes of traffic had been closed off for the cleanup and investigation efforts.
