Authorities identify victim in SE OKC head-on crash along Sooner Rd

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities say that the motorcyclist involved in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Oklahoma City on Wednesday died the following day at an area hospital.
According to KFOR News 4, 34-year-old Corey James Denton sustained fatal injuries when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Dodge Journey.
The investigation thus far indicates that the southbound SUV struck the northbound motorcycle while turning into a Sonic parking lot along Sooner Road.
It appears that the driver of the SUV did not sustain injuries in the collision.
Police do not suspect impairment as a factor in the accident. It’s unclear if charges will be issued in connection to the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
