Bethany man killed in pedestrian crash at I-40 and S Choctaw

CHOCTAW, OK – Emergency crews responded to a fatal auto-pedestrian crash along the interstate in southeast Oklahoma City on Tuesday, reports KOCO News 5.
The accident happened shortly before 10 p.m. near I-40 and South Choctaw Road, which is northeast of Lake Stanley Draper and west of I-335.
It’s not yet clear if the victim was walking on or along the shoulder of the interstate when he was struck and killed.
Authorities identified the victim as Johnny Brewer from Bethany.
Police haven’t shared any details about the driver involved in the accident, but they’ve also not referred to the collision as a hit-and-run.
