Bicyclist struck by car, severely injured in NE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A woman was struck by a car and severely injured in Northeast Oklahoma City Monday, reports Oklahoma News 4.

The collision occurred on Monday at 10:20 p.m. near N.E. 36th Street and Kelley. The two vehicles were occupying the same lane, and the driver claimed to be unable to see her due to dark and stormy weather.

While the biker was not wearing proper safety equipment, fault has not yet been determined.

She was hospitalized with severe but non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests were made.
