Bus vs. SUV crash at SW 15th and Meridian in SW OKC injures 2

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A two-vehicle crash involving a bus at a busy intersection in southwestern Oklahoma City injured two people on Sunday afternoon, reports KOCO News 5.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest 15th Street and Meridian Avenue, which is just south of the Oklahoma River and west of I-44.

It’s not yet clear what caused the collision, which police say involved an SUV carrying two occupants and an EMBARK bus carrying only the driver.

The accident caused the SUV to overturn, injuring both the driver and passenger. Medics transported them to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the bus did not require hospitalization.

A full investigation is underway.
