Car and semi collide at OK-3W and CR 3490, killing 1

PONTOTOC CO., OK – A man died Thursday in a two-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler in northwest Pontotoc County, reports KTEN 10.
The incident occurred at night on OK-3W at County Road 3490, which is just northwest of Ada, south of Bebee, and about 77 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Police say that the driver of a passenger vehicle failed to yield right of way to a semi-truck, resulting in a crash.
The driver of the car, identified as 64-year-old Timothy Wilson of Ada, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The truck driver was not hurt in the accident.
A full investigation is underway.
