Car overturns in Quinton, killing Porum police officer

QUINTON, OK – A Porum police officer was killed in a rollover collision that happened on Highway 71 South near Etchinson Road last Thursday, October. 30.
Fox23 said the crash occurred before 10:30 a.m. Preliminary details indicate that the police officer missed a curve while driving, causing him to leave the road and have his vehicle overturn.
The police officer died from his injuries at the scene. He was identified as 28-year-old Richard Phillips, a Quinton local.
