Car overturns on US-412 at N 129th in Sand Springs, killing 1

SAND SPRINGS, OK – A woman died, and a man sustained injuries Tuesday in a single-vehicle collision along the highway in west-central Tulsa County, reports Fox 23 News.
The accident happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. on the southbound side of US-412 near North 129th West Avenue in Sand Springs, which is about eight miles southwest of Tulsa.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the crash. They say that a vehicle carrying two people overturned on the side of the highway. Both occupants were thrown from the vehicle and injured.
A female victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene despite the efforts of emergency response teams.
A male victim sustained head injuries and required hospitalization; the severity of his injuries is unclear.
