Tim Jennings was released from jail after being arrested and charged with drunk driving in Atlanta, an article on ajc.com stated January 7.

Reports said the 31-year-old cornerback for the Chicago Bears was stopped by a police officer on Interstate 85 at around 11:00 a.m. after he was observed driving 99 mph in a 65 mph zone. Police Corporal Jake Smith said several charges were filed against Jennings including DUI and reckless driving. Jennings settled a bond of $2,711 shortly after the arrest. The National Football League is expected to discipline Jennings.
