Collision at OK-82, Beaverson Rd claims Tahlequah man

TAHLEQUAH, OK – A two-vehicle collision along the highway in central Cherokee County killed one person last Saturday afternoon, reports Fox 23 News.
The accident happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. on OK-82 near East Beaverson Road, or West Woodward Road, on the northeastern outskirts of Tahlequah. This is about 73 miles southeast of Tulsa.
Police say that a northbound motorcycle or electric scooter collided with a southbound car when the driver of the latter vehicle initiated a left turn into a parking lot.
The operator of the northbound vehicle succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities identified the victim as 25-year-old Nash Tannehill.
The other driver did not sustain injuries in the crash.
