Collision blocks lanes on I-240

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a collision on Interstate 240 that partially blocked multiple lanes Wednesday evening.

According to the Official Oklahoma Highway Patrol Twitter page, the collision occurred in the westbound lanes of I-240 near May Avenue, South of downtown Oklahoma City shortly after 8:00 p.m.

Authorities have reported injuries as a result of the collision. However, information regarding the number of people hurt, and the extent of thier injuries have not been released.

All lanes have since been reopened.
