Collision involving semi-truck leaks hazardous material on I-240

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in southwest Oklahoma City responded to a collision involving a semi-truck that resulted in fuel leaking along a busy freeway Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred along a service road near Interstate 240, west of Interstate 35 before 10:00 a.m., according to News 9. Authorities say the truck began leaking hazardous fuel immediately following the crash.
There have been injuries reported as a result of the collision. But how many people were hurt and the extent of those injuries has not yet been released.
An investigation into what may have caused the accident is still underway.
