Construction worker injured in accident in SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A construction worker was injured in an industrial accident yesterday afternoon in southwest Oklahoma City, according to a report published by KFOR.
The accident happened in the 4900 block of South County Line Road at about 3 p.m. when an excavator reportedly flipped over.
Emergency responders discovered the unnamed male operator of the excavator trapped between the machine and a concrete vault. They managed to extricate the conscious victim from the wreckage and then taken to an ambulance.
The victim has suffered leg injuries and was able to speak with emergency crews at the time of the accident, but his current condition is not currently known.
