Couple struck in head-on collision in Norman

NORMAN, OK – A couple that was struck in a head-on car crash in Norman on Wednesday described the crash to local news and reminded others to be safe while driving, according to News on 6.

The crash happened at Alameda Street and 180^th Avenue Wednesday night when a vehicle collided head-on with the victims’ car while they were out fetching dinner.

In their description of the accident to news sources, the couple asked to remain unnamed.

One of the victims, a woman, experienced a great deal of pain as a result of the crash, but she and her husband said that they are lucky to remain alive.

The victims reminded drivers this weekend to be safe during their Labor Day holiday and to help prevent future accidents from occurring.
