Crash involving pickup at NE 23rd and I-35 causes property damage

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police are investigating a major crash that damaged road signs and streetlights at a busy intersection in northeast Oklahoma City on Friday, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident occurred early Friday morning at Northeast 23rd Street and I-35, which is south of Lincoln Park Golf Course in the Creston Hills area.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the wreck, which they say involved a pickup truck. It’s unclear if anyone was hurt or if additional vehicles may have been involved. The pickup truck sustained heavy damage to its front end.
Motorists likely experienced delays in the area of the crash Friday morning while crews worked to clear the scene.
