Crash involving vehicle, 4 motorcycles on OK-9 near Eufaula kills 1, injures 3

EUFAULA, OK – A 34-year-old man died, and three other adults were injured Saturday in a crash involving a car and four motorcycles near Eufaula, reports KTUL News 8.
The accident happened just after 7 p.m. on Highway 9 at S 4180 Road. This is just south of the Highway 9 bridge over the Canadian River and Lake Eufaula.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Police say that one of the four motorcyclists died after being airlifted to an area hospital. Authorities identified him as James Harp.
Medics transported a motorcycle passenger and two other motorcycle operators to the hospital with trunk and leg injuries.
The driver of the passenger vehicle involved in the crash did not required hospitalization.
The investigation is ongoing.
