Crews respond to injury accident at Meridian and 54th near airport

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews cited injuries on Thursday afternoon from a collision at a busy intersection in southwest Oklahoma City, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident happened sometime before 12:25 p.m. at the intersection of Meridian Avenue and Southwest 54th Street, which is just north of Will Rogers World Airport.
Police haven’t yet indicated how many vehicles were involved or how the crash occurred. At least one person sustained injuries in the accident.
Motorists confronted delays in the area while crews investigated and attended to the victims.
