Crews respond to semi-truck crashes along 1-44 in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic stalled along the interstate in Oklahoma City on Wednesday after two crashes involving 18-wheelers, reports OKC Fox 25.
The first collision occurred on the eastbound side of I-44 at Northwest 39th Street. The second incident happened on the westbound side of I-44 between May Avenue and NW 36th Street.
Police have not shared any details regarding the cause of the crashes. They say that both semi-trucks jackknifed in the roadway.
There’s no word yet on injuries. Crews worked during rush hour to investigate and clear the scene.
