Davis Police investigate fatal crash at US-77 and Sooner Rock

DAVIS, OK – Emergency crews responded to a double-fatality collision along the highway in west-central Murray County last Saturday, reports OKC Fox 25.
The single-vehicle crash happened in the evening on US-77 near Sooner Rock Road in the city of Davis. This is about 76 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of Chevy pickup truck lost control of the vehicle, left the highway, and hit a tree.
Both the driver and a minor passenger succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Authorities identified the driver as 55-year-old Donna J. Beaver.
Medics transported a second minor from the pickup to an area hospital in stable condition; the extent of her injuries is unknown.
