Distracted driver crashes into an Oklahoma City Lake

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver using their phone crashed their tuck into Lake Hefner northeast of downtown Oklahoma City early Thursday morning.
Officials responded to the incident at about 12:15 a.m. Thursday. According to KFOR, the truck drove around a corner and crashed through a barrier before driving into the lake.
Although the truck was submerged, first responders were able to pull it from the lake. The driver was not injured in the crash. No word on if any distracted driving charges will be filed against them.
