OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An Oklahoma City cardiologist has been sentenced to 17-years for a DUI incident on I-35 that killed a motorcyclist in October 2018, KOKO5 reports.

Bryan Perry was sentenced to 15 years for first-degree manslaughter, one year for driving under the influence, and one year for obstruction and fleeing the scene.

Perry struck and killed Nicolas Rappa on his motorcycle while intoxicated. Perry was reported to have had 13 scotches before driving.

The defense argued that Perry could not see Rappa due to his dark motorbike and weather conditions.
