A driver was arrested after a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run, a March 9 article of News On 6 reported.
The incident happened near MLK Jr. Boulevard and 36th Street North in early February. Mark Brooks was interviewed regarding the crash and recounted what occurred. Allegedly, he didn’t stop to respond since he thought he struck a deer, not a person. However, investigators retorted that he did see something since he swerved a second before impact. He’s now facing charges of leaving the scene of a fatality collision.
