Driver dies in single-vehicle crash south of Ardmore

ARDMORE, OK – A crash on Sunday morning south of Ardmore killed one person, reports The Daily Ardmoreite.

The incident happened on US-77, near Sunny Ridge Rd and two miles south of the town of Ardmore. A Pontiac was heading south when it strayed off the road and struck an embankment.

The driver became pinned inside the vehicle following the crash. Emergency responders pronounced that individual dead at the scene.
