Driver extricated after vehicle crashes into storm drain on NW 36th St.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver was rescued from their vehicle after it crashed into a storm drain in northwest Oklahoma City last Friday, according to News 9.
Police say the vehicle was westbound on Northwest 36th Street near Meridian Avenue when the driver lost control and veered into the storm drain.
It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured in the crash. However, OKC firefighters worked for about an hour to safely extricate the driver.
Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the collision. Should any additional details come to light, this news blog will be updated.
