Driver Fell Asleep While Driving And Crashed

A driver was injured after falling asleep on the wheel and crashing his vehicle, a January 14 article of Tahlequah Daily Press reported.
46-year-old Denise Drywater was driving around 1 PM on Rice Road when she fell asleep. Her vehicle then went off the road and hit a bridge abutment. She got pinned down and had to be rescued using the jaws of life. She was airlifted to St. John’s Hospital with head, trunk, internal, arm and leg injuries.
