Driver Fled After Crash Injured Two Passengers

Two women were injured after solo-car accident, a March 18 news article of The Lawton Constitution reported.
The accident occurred in Post Oak Road, Sunday night. 44-year-old Monique P. Nevaquaya and 47-year-old Angela Gooday were riding a Toyota Yaris when their unknown driver failed to stop the vehicle, causing it to careen to the wet asphalt. It then struck railroad ties and went up in the air, rolling several times before coming to rest upside-down. The two women were stuck in the vehicle for 30 minutes before Cache firefighters rescued them.
Then, they were sent to Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Nevaquaya sustained head and leg injuries, and Gooday suffered severe arm and internal trunk injuries. Unfortunately, the driver fled the scene. The police are now searching for the suspect.
